EFFECTS OF LOW-INTENSITY LASER RADIATION ON THE BODY OF HORSES

In the Era of Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State, large-scale work is being carried out in our Country to further elevate the world fame of our celestial horses, which have formed on Turkmen soil over the centuries. The horse breeding industry faces such tasks as organizing production in the Akhalteke and Yomut horse breeding of Turkmenistan at a modern level, systematically perfecting the ancestral appearance of Akhalteke and Yomut horses, deeply studying and introducing into production the widespread use of horses in economic work, cultural events, national equestrian games, horse circus, and classical types of equestrian sports.

Along with the breed characteristics of our Akhalteke horses, which are one of the national treasures of our country, studying the conditions of their keeping, feeding, as well as ways of protecting and strengthening their health, and methods of disease prevention and treatment, is very important, and great attention is paid to this in the industry. In this regard, thanks to the constant efforts of our esteemed President, the horse breeding industry is developing in our country. Recently, modern equestrian complexes meeting world standards and equipped with advanced global technologies have been built in all velayats of the country. Along with this, research institutions equipped with modern equipment are being established to train high-class specialists in this field and scientifically develop horse breeding, and work related to the implementation and improvement of innovations studied on the basis of modern techniques in the horse breeding industry is being carried out. To accomplish these tasks, the scientific-clinical department of the Horse Breeding Scientific and Production Center of the "Turkmen Atlary" State Association was equipped with special equipment for diagnostics, treatment, disease prevention, as well as conducting physiotherapeutic procedures.

In the scientific-clinical department of the Horse Breeding Scientific and Production Center of the "Turkmen Atlary" State Association, with the participation of specialists from the department "Diagnostics and Treatment of Horse Diseases" of the Aba Annayev International Horse Breeding Academy, comprehensive research work was conducted to study the effect of low-intensity laser therapy on the physiological parameters, activity, and immunological reactivity of Akhalteke horses. In the course of these scientific studies, conducted for the first time in our country, the biophysical effects of the "Mphi VET MLS®ASA" low-intensity laser device on the regeneration processes of horses at the tissue and systemic levels, in particular on the morphofunctional state of leg joints, soft tissues, and bone structures, were analyzed on a scientific basis. As a result of the experiments conducted, it was shown that this non-invasive method has high therapeutic efficacy in the deep recovery of pathologies frequently encountered in horse breeding, including bone and joint diseases such as arthrosis, arthritis, osteoperiostitis, epiphysitis, soft tissue injuries such as tendinitis, bursitis, synovitis, muscle contracture, as well as conditions difficult to treat, such as chronic and acute laminitis, back pain, inflammation of various etiologies, and traumatic injuries. The results of these scientific works proved that the use of laser radiation in veterinary practice as an anti-edematous, analgesic, and stimulating agent will provide great assistance in restoring the health of horses. Thus, laser treatment in horse breeding is widely used in modern veterinary medicine as a scientifically grounded, highly effective physiotherapeutic method, especially for tendinitis, desmitis (ligamentitis), hoof diseases, and wounds. At the same time, additional controlled clinical studies are required to establish standardized protocols.
